I would be honored to fight along side you should the need arise.
Kit gave a wry grin, though the pain showed on her face.
Did you faint?
Umm I don't know...
Does anything hurt?
My head is killing me, is it bleeding?
Have you eaten?
No.
Drunk much?
Umm no more than anyone else...

Hikenai examined the Lady Kit from toe to head, but she could find no evidence of any contusions. Nothing seemed amiss....yet, Kit was clearly weak, disoriented and clearly unable to care for herself at that particular time. It disturbed Hikenai that Kit's head was hurting for she knew the young woman had taken a serious wound in battle that day, as she had fought against the Scots. She felt perhaps Kitsada had gotten up too quickly from her sick bed, as women, strong in character, sometimes are often wont to do. Hikenai suspected this was the case, and that Kit merely had overdone it on the dance floor. Until she noted other symptoms linking Kit and Areth, she was satisfied these were two separate incidents. Hikenai stood from kneeling before Kit and placed her hand on Kelster's sleeve. Perhaps you can find Kitsada a bedroom nearby, where she would be more comfortable. Then one of my ladies can come to her, to assist her. There are two with me at this time, at the inn. Hikenai smiled for Kelster was acquainted with one, young lady Blythe, who accompanied Hikenai northward in the company of the retinue. The other was Lady Afton, an older friend of the family and companion at times to the Lady Hikenai. I believe I shall send for Blythe! She is from Egremont and accustomed to these cold winters!
