(ORP) Royal Parade & Coronation of King Cullan Holifard

Merthyn
After becoming separated from Ellie in the large crowd, Merthyn had made his way to the previously agreed upon meeting spot. He waited there patiently, catching glimpses of the dragons from time to time while keeping an eye out for Ellie in the crowd. At length he realized that the parade was reaching the Abbey. He looked around for Ellie fruitlessly one more time before relenting and moving toward the Abbey for a view of the proceedings.

Aleks nodded as the King greeted Parson Jones. They turned to speak to one another again, when he heard screaming. Parson Jones looked worried and kept pointing. Waving his hand, Aleks said "Don't worry. I expect it's just someone getting excited about some juggler or something" and continued in conversation with the Parson, oblivious to the whole goings-on with the dragon and the Princess of Wales.

She and Ellie had been chatting while searching the crowd for Merthyn, and waving of course to Bill, but she realized quickly that the parade was getting away from them. She gasped and grabbed Ellies arm and half pulled her along as they continued their conversation. "Oh Ellie, i've missed you." She leans to whisper to her, "After the wedding and coronation there will be a feast, and hopefully you'll meet that someone special to me." She gave a grin before Ellie showed her the spot that was agreed to meet Merthyn, though apparently he wasn't there, and so they continued on towards the Abbey in a more hurried pace. Though suddenly she saw someone familiar and she gasped, "Ellie! Theres Merthyn!"
She let go of Ellies arm so the lass could go to the man if she wanted, and she yelled out with a wave, "MERTHYN!!" She had to cup her hand around her mouth, as there were screams and large dragons doing strange things the closer they got to the Abbey.

Nivera had clapped loudly st the dragon duel, cheering for the fun of it all. This was not what she expected at all, but it was very entertaining!

When Aggnes settled her lovely dress and looked ready to climb the steps, Niv got quiet and watched with a happy little smile. The day was turning out to be spectacular.

Robin rode proudly with the Devon Navy to the Abbey, scanning the crowds as they went. He was surprised to see a fair number of faces he recognized from his time with the embassy. With a smile, he waved to Melanie and Applus from Scotland, Anne of Brittany, Vigfast from Sweden, Bartram from Finland, and Nissa of Hungary when he saw them, knowing they had come a long way to visit.

As the parade reached Westminster, the Lord Warden leaned over to kiss his wife's cheek, commenting just loud enough to be heard over the crowd, "I'll meet you after the wedding, love, and we can sit together for the coronation." With a smile, he dismounted, passing off the reins and went up to the steps to await the King and the other groomsmen. He watched as the King and then the county dragons arrived, approving of the Devon Dragon that arrived first. It was simple, but very well put together. His eyebrows shot up in surprise at the sudden display of acting with the Westmorland Dragon and the Princess. It was certainly interesting, though Robin wondered about the timing and symbolism behind the act. Straightening so he was standing comfortably, the Steward simply watched as the King and soon to be Queen approached for their ceremony, moving to take his place, offering a slight bow to the pair.

He'd marched along silently, reflecting on the procession path. Now, the parade was stopping, at the Abbey and it was time for the wedding. He was genuinely happy for the couple in this, but he felt he should go prepare for the coronation ceremony. He smiled briefly at Ame, waving to her and the children not far away from her, before slipping into the Abbey.

Jessa was in shock at first and as she was helped out of the carriage almost fell flat on her face. She had no idea what was going on and due to spending her time studying as of late, and the little time left working spending time with her husband and recovering from a home fallen to flames, had not a clue of what was to and had just occurred with the Westmorland dragon. Was she the only bride's maid unaware?? That was something she was unsure of . However it was definitely not something she had in her wildest dreams expected for the day this day and with a gentle laugh and shake of her head knew that was one more thing she would never forget.

Having caught sight of one of the royal servants she quickly had two flasks brought to the bride to be . One consisted of a strong but pleasant tasting rum (couldn't have the the queen making a facial reaction to some poor tasting beverage) and one a smooth and delicate wine. Either way would provide some calming effect, one quite a bit stronger than the other, but only Aggnes would know which would be in need.

What she hadn't seen was the design of the flasks until it was too late, then again how could she have expected anything else.

M'lady a bit of a sip to clear your throat? then in a bit of a whisper and wink to Aggnes, one's wine , one's rum, so careful if you sip too much.

She had the strong urge for a sip herself but after the dragon skit she wanted to keep clear of mind for Jah only knew what else might happen.

Raella
Raella watched dumbfounded as the hunky men ran off towards the Princess and the surprise Westmorland dragon. What were they doing?? Was this part of Sara's plan? Oh the humanity... the half-naked men were practically rubbing up against the royal couple at the very foot of the the sacred steps, glistening chests, strappy leather outfits and all.

Now the paper dragon had changed courses. It was "bloodied", riled up, and headed this way. Raella panicked. Had Aggnes sent it over to chastise the Sussex team for the indecent outfits? Her alarm turned to laughter when she saw their very own Sussex dragon hit on the Westmorland dragon. Calisa was one clever girl.

Raella sidled back towards the float and grabbed some of Kazzia's red taffies. As she people-watched and waited for the ceremony to begin, she busied her hands with the taffy and molded them into little hearts. She wasn't sure what people in England showered married couples with on their way out of the chapel, but the Westmorland dragon was definitely going to get pelted with red heart-shaped candies when all was said and done.

Zeke_
Zeke wandered down the bustle of the streets at hand. Tis this madness to be found could drive any sane individual to insanity. Though , he himself had grown more accustomed to these things now a days without a doubt. He continued to weave his way through the crowds as he glanced down to the written note at hand. How in all of this bustle was he to find Alex? You would need banners raised high above just to alert someone to where you are."Bloody maddening this maze of people tis..."He grumbled lowly to himself as his hand eased its way down to his flask to release from its confines for a brief swig before replacing it back to where it belonged. He continued on his way in his search as he made sure to look to each passing individual incase she had slipped past his line of sight.

Finally , he caught sight of the familiar darkened locks and the voice that chimed through the growing loudness of the crowd. He felt himself chuckle heartily as the sight of Alex as he decided to venture forward quietly. He came to halt behind her whilst his arms came to close with ease around her waist as he lowered his head to draw mouth down against her ear in a hushed whisper."Well hello there , love... I must say ye are quite the hard one to find.." He grinned casually at that as he withdrew his mouth a bit only to come around to face her. He saw the lass beforehand by her side and gave a slight curt bow to the young woman."'Ello there lass , I don't believe we've met.. I'm Zeke Hunden and I can only assume ye are the always well talked of Elle?" He smiled warmly to the lass as his gaze flickered momentarily to his love and what constant happiness and beauty she brought with just her presence as he extended his hand out to grasp hers with lightened ease within his own. As he listened to the constant buzz draw closely around them.

Airya.
When Georgio and the musicians left, Airya started to feel a bit lonely,
when a breeze came up, she felt a chill... Fergus came behind her
and slipped her blue cloak over her shoulders.

She smiled ... He and Cara too, were always looking after her.
She was close to the steps of the Abbey, and would have a good view of the wedding.

Quit badgering my maid before she gets in my herb chest and you don't like the result.

Daisy fought to control the calculating smirk that teased at her lips. She spoke up a bit louder for the benefit of their traveling companions, “Hey gals, it seems we have a trickster in our midst!” There would certainly be some ingestion of herbs before the day was over, but not from Kazzia’s medicine chest. It did provide the perfect cover for her though, and Daisy would throw Katiya under the carriage in a heartbeat if it saved her skin.

She was only half paying attention to the dragon show, distracted by the appearance of several Hunky Sussex Dragon-masters. Playing it up for their attention, she put on her most dramatic swoon and damsel in distress voice, “Oooh, aye.. a dragon!… it’s… it’s… simply terrifying!…” She winked suggestively to the “knight” who stepped forward to assist her and leaned up to whisper in his ear. He blushed and stammered, “I didn’t realize chain mail had so many uses…” She just shrugged and grinned.

Kazzia
Kazzia eyed Daisy as she stepped from the carriage. That one's up to something, she thought. Still, with care, and a helping hand she safely made it to the ground, not small feat in this outfit. The change in brightness caused her to blink momentarily until her eyes adjust, apparently a canopy made more of a difference than she knew. She blinked a time or two then dipped into a soft curtsy facing the direction of the King. She knew she'd have to repeat the process once she was stopped, but it beat trying to attempt it while climbing the stairs to the abbey. She glanced behind her for the other ladies exits, standing carefully so that the view was blocked partially should there be any difficulties disembarking from the carriage. With a plesant smile she watched to ensure Joli and Taarna made it down safely, their gowns were a different hem than hers and she didn't want them to tangle. With a smile she thanked her lucky stars Aertan had reminded her to wear flat shoes, not heeled ones. She wasn't sure she could quite manage being a picture of perfect grace in this dress, up those steps, in heeled shoes. She just was not that serene. Turning she cast her eyes over the crowd, ensuring no one was too close, no one looked off, and no one had a weapon aimed their way. She'd always watched, likely she always would.
Angelina_holifard
Ange snickered at her Sis and tried to compose herself as she stepped from the carriage...she looked over the crowd that had gathered to see their Father crowned as King...She grabbed Daisy’s hand and gave it a little squeeze as she grinned at her...You seem to find new suitors wherever we go. she said as they followed the other bridesmaids.

Oliver smiled as he watched the excitement of his grandchildren over the dragon floats. There was almost an argument between two cousins on which dragon looked the most fierce, but mothers quickly stepped in and ended the debate. He looked proudly at his daughters. He had expected Susanna and Julianna to be cold to each other, perhaps even hostile. But apparently the two sisters had came to an understanding of some sort. It was with some regret as he took one of his grandsons from Julianna, so she could get ready for the evening's events.

"I knew you have several pieces already planned," he said to his youngest child, "but I really think you should do your Pegasus poem. It's still an excellent piece, even after all these years."

Julianna chuckled and kissed his cheek. "If the crowd feels right, I'll do this," she promised.

Lord_ruith
A broken wheel had caused Ruith's carriage to arrive late in the city, so the parade was already well underway by the time he arrived. The streets were crowded with well-wishers, both lining the way and following the procession. Eventually he managed to squeeze far enough ahead to reach the dragon floats, where across the road he spotted a face he recognised.

"Oliver," he greeted his new business partner with a wave, and then crossed the road to meet him. He extended his hand.

Looking around, he saw Julianna with another woman, presumably her sister, and several children. He smiled at her when Julianna caught his eye. Preoccupied with her part in the evening's events and seeing her family again, Ruith had not had much chance to see her in recent days. Instictively, he gave her a hug when she joined them.

"All set for this evening?" he asked.
