Un évènement important se préparait à Rome, comme en témoignait une certaine effervescence autour de la Basilique Saint Titus. La Garde pontificale s'était déployée afin de sécuriser la zone, et plusieurs d'entre eux filtraient l'accès à la Basilique.

Les portes de la Basilique venaient d'ouvrir, et de nombreux prélats étaient attendus. Le Camerlingue allait introniser un nouveau Cardinal National Suffragant Portugais.

An important event was preparing to Rome, as evidenced by some effervescence around the Basilica Saint Titus. Papal Guard was deployed to secure the area, and several of them filtered access to the Basilica.

Doors of Basilica came open, and many prelates were expected, and dignitaries. The Camerlengo would induct a new Portuguese Cardinal National Suffragan.

Following Cardinal Palladio, Vanyar also enters the Basilica to be a witness to the creation of a new Cardinal. Une petite silhouette discrète était entrée au début de l'office dans le lieu impressionnant. La nef était surtout remplie de prélats et de prêtres et la jeune castillane se sentit minuscule parmi tous ces grands hommes. Elle se glissa donc à une des places au fond de l'édifice, non loin d'un visage connu, évêque provençal, qu'elle avait rencontré au mariage de son frère. Sourire intimidé, signe de croix sur sa poitrine voilée d'une dentelle chaste qui remontait jusqu'à son cou et c'est une voix aux accents hispaniques qui vint réciter le Credo à l'unisson.

A small discreet silhouette had entered at the beginning of the mass in the impressive place. The nave was mostly filled with prelates and priests, and the young Castilian felt tiny among all these great men. She slipped into one of the squares at the back of the building, not far from a well-known face, a Provencal bishop, whom she had met at her brother's wedding. An intimidated smile, a sign of the cross on her breast veiled in a chaste lace that rose up to her neck, and it was a voice with Hispanic accents that came to recite the Credo in unison.

Tout à ses prières, plein de recueillement au fond de la basilique, les yeux pleins d'étoiles devant la pourpre, l'encens et la myrrhe, le brun provençal remarqua tout juste une ombre toute gracile se faufiler derrière lui. Il ne l'aurait d'ailleurs pas remarquer plus que cela si il n'avait entendu la voix cristalline aux accents ibériques.
Le marseillais se retourna, fit un petit sourire à l'arrivante, rougit légèrement, et retourna à la contemplation de la scène - ou ses pieds, au choix - attendant la suite
