Maeve a suivi Leandre en Lorraine. Accompagnés d'autres enfants, ils s'installent dans le duché, se promettant de se voir souvent, et commencent à s'investir.
Fin de l'enfance pour Maeve et Leandre. Ce dernier apprend la mort de sa mère, Maeve devient femme... Derniers jours en Empire aussi pour la jeune fille.
